This wine is an enjoyable, youthful, and fizzy creation that doesn't require aging—just open and enjoy. While some describe it as a mysterious field blend, it’s believed to be crafted from Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt. Gut Oggau is a relatively new project that began in 2007 but carries the legacy of a winery dating back to the 17th century in Burgenland, Austria. Founded by Stephanie and Eduard, the estate blends her culinary expertise from her family's Michelin-starred restaurant with his winemaking heritage in Styria. The couple revived the abandoned vineyards, untouched for 20 years, and began biodynamic farming with no traces of chemicals in the soil. Each vineyard and wine is treated as a unique personality, reflected in their iconic wine labels, which depict various "family members" within theGut Oggau universe.Origin: Burgenland, AustriaGrapes: Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt (field blend)Style: Fun, fizzy, and youthfulYear: 2023
