Common Uses Mortar for brick and block: The primary sand used for mixing mortar for bricklaying, block work, and stone masonry. Stonework and grouting: Ideal for projects that require a finer finish and smoother joints. Above-ground pool base: Creates a smooth, non-abrasive layer under pool liners to help reduce the risk of punctures from grit or small stones.
