The Matala Air Disc Diffuser with Base is ideal for use with an air pump or compressor (not included) to add oxygen to a pond, water garden or small lake. Three Models are available to choose from and they are: Base only (air disc not included), Single 9" rubber membrane disc with Base, or Double Disc with Base. These diffusers produce very little back pressure which can prolong the life of your compressor's diaphragm. Aeration is essential for the health of ponds and other water features. The increase in oxygen improves the water quality and clarity, which helps fish, water plants, beneficial bacteria and other aquatic life.
