Matala's Koi Clear Vortex Filter utilizes state-of-the-art progressive filtration technology, offering a versatile and modular filter that is quick and easy to install and maintain . Its active, self-cleaning vortex flow ensures hassle-free maintenance, and it is suitable for ponds and water gardens with up to 5,300 gallons volume. It features a sloped, square bottom that eliminates the need for extra support. Additionally, multiple tanks can be used as modules in a multi-chamber filter. High-quality Matala filter media is available as an optional add-on. This filtration system has a capacity to support up to 11,000 gallons with no/light fish load, up to 9,000 gallons with moderate fish load, and up to 5,000 gallons with large fish load or Koi. It contains approximately 150 gallons of water and operates at an ideal flow rate of 3,500 gallons per hour. Its dimensions are 42 inches in diameter and 40 inches in height. The filter's inlet/outlet size is both 2 inches, enabling efficient water flow. It also features a 1.5-inch bottom sludge/sediment drainage valve, making waste removal easy.
