Sourced from the Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan, a region known for its top-grade teas, this Matcha is harvested in the spring, gently steamed, and ground using the bead milling method to preserve its unique flavor profile. Production of this particular tea is very low so we are extremely proud to be able to offer it to you. What makes it ceremonial? Japan doesn't commonly use the terms "ceremonial grade" and "culinary grade" for matcha, but the US does to determine quality.
