The best way to ensure a smooth, creamy bowl of matcha or Hojicha Powder is to sift before preparation: even though the powder is made of fine particles, static can cause them to c lump together. This simple, stainless steel tool is the solution. Rest it on the rim of your tea bowl, and use a chashaku to add matcha, running the back of the scoop against the mesh to push all the powder through.
