Simple, traditional and an essential part of making matcha properly. 1 × HANDCRAFTED BAMBOO MATCHA WHISK — CHASEN HOW TO WHISK Sift 2g of matcha into your matcha bowl and add hot water at approximately 80°C. Whisk briskly in a quick zigzag motion using your wrist, rather than stirring in circles, until the matcha is smooth and a fine layer of froth forms on the surface. Enjoy traditionally, or add your favourite milk for a matcha latte. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR WHISK Your bamboo whisk is handcrafted from natural bamboo and will last longer with a little care. BEFORE EACH USE Soak the tines in hot (not boiling) water for approximately 60 seconds. This softens the bamboo and makes the tines more flexible before whisking. AFTER EACH USE Rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently remove any remaining matcha with your fingers. Avoid soap and detergents, which can damage the natural bamboo.
