A chasen stand is one of those "I wish I'd had this sooner" kind of accessory. Think of it as an investment to keep your whisks looking good and holding their shape longer. After y ou make your matcha, gently clean your chasen by vigorously whisking a bowl of hot water. Shake dry and then place the still damp chasen on the stand, as shown in the item picture.
