Matejko Leek is a hybrid, improved leek variety that is slow to bolt and great for fall plantings. This hybrid leek variety was specifically designed for fall production, although it can be overwintered in moderate climates. It is slow-bolting and it holds well in the field, providing a longer harvesting window once plants are mature. Matejko Leek also has a great shelf-life and will store well once harvested and cleaned. Stalks are bright white and leaves are dark blue-green.
