This is the fifth number in the series. 'Mathematically Impossible' is written for trap set, but works well within the sequence of this series. Written in the time signature of 10/8 and 2/4 provides the player with a changing challenging mix. Utilizing snare drum, high tom. middle tom, low tom, and suspend crash or ride cymbal the player will need to look ahead for the use of hand independence, syncopation and dynamic change. An innovative and delightful work that every student will enjoying performing. Can be performed by any student with an understanding of mixed meter, eighth, dotted eighth sixteenth, sixteenth notes, sixteenth eighth sixteenth, flams and 5- stroke, 9- stoke rolls.
