‘Matisse's Pot Plant’ celebrates the palette of Matisse's Nice paintings and creates a bit of his South of France vibe in my dining room. It is a 5 colour reduction lino print, whe reby the block is destroyed by the end of the process. All my prints are handmade and limited editions. I use oil based inks for their vibrant colours and print using a Victorian platen press. The lino print is a limited edition of 18. Each is editioned and signed and printed on Sunome Senaka paper, a fine Japanese printmaking paper of 52grms. Image size 30cm x 20cm *The image is a guide.
