TimmerTek Hardwax Oil A natural oil and natural wax based finish for protecting wooden surfaces – floors and furniture. Application Wood surfaces must be sanded and cleaned prior to application. No more than 120 grade sandpaper is necessary for preparing most wood flooring and furniture. Application of one coat of TimmerTek Hardwax Oil is normally sufficient. However, if no TimmerTek Tint has been used first, then apply two coats of TimmerTek Hardwax Oil in either the matt or satin finish. TimmerTek Hardwax Oil is ready to use. Stir TimmerTek Hardwax Oil well before application. Take care to apply only a thin, even layer of TimmerTek Hardwax Oil with a brush, roller or polishing pad (our recommended method of application). Wipe off any excess especially between joints. Touch dry in 24 hours, curing 3-4 days, use only socks on newly protected floors and avoid cleaning with water during this time.
