This knife was designed in partnership with Matt Helm. It is based on his Work Knife pattern. It retains all of his attention to detail and usability in a very accessible package. For this run we have manufactured them out of CPM 3v, and S35Vn steels. They are available in a variety of finishes. It is professionally heat treated to 59-60 HRc. The knife has an overall length of 8" and a cutting ege of 4.1". It is 1/4" thick and features a machined double flat grind edge geometry. Knife is supplied with a sheath manufactured in house. The sheath feature all stainless hardware and adjustable retention. The sheath is supplied with a Discreet Carry Concepts HLR gear clip that can be mounted for left or right hand orientation. Additionally, the top rivet holes are based on the common .75"/1.5" spacing so they can be used with various other attachment methods. **PVD and DLC are industrial metal finishes made to increase wear and corrosion resistance. As such, they are functional first and foremost. Some unevenness in finish or marks left by the work holding during the finishing process can be expected and will not affect the functionality of the coating.** Show more
