Mattie Schell is at the forefront of the newest crop of young artists redefining Americana music. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she deftly blends the heartfelt honesty of Am erican roots with the raw power of soul, creating a sound that has roots in tradition but is proudly and uniquely her own. Her debut solo release Everything Means Nothing was produced by JD Simo at his studio and mixed at Nashville's historic Compass Sound Studio (aka "Hillbilly Central"). Schell gives fans a sneak peak of the new record with the Delta soul-infused single "Coast to Coast" about the challenges of life on the road and alienation that comes from being away from your loved ones.
