MAUI MOKKA COFFEE A customer favorite returns for the first time in over three years. Often called the "champagne of coffee" by collectors, Maui Mokka is a rare variety, with a devoted cult following among those who've had the chance to taste it. The 2023 Lahaina fires disrupted harvest and production across Maui's farms, and Maui Mokka, already scarce, disappeared from availability entirely. We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome it back, available as a true small-batch lot, with very little inventory available. Mokka's defining trait is its cute bean — strikingly small and round, more like a pearl than a coffee bean. It's one of the smallest coffee beans in the world, and that size is exactly what makes it so coveted: yields are naturally low and roasting demands extra care to draw out its character. We roast it medium-dark, producing a heavy-bodied cup with a fudgy texture, fragrant aroma, and a rich, chocolatey flavor. It stands on its own without milk or sugar, but holds up well to both.
