Introducing the Mauve Passion™ Crape Myrtle, an Original Creation from Southern Charm Crape Myrtles. This dwarf variety matures to a manageable size of 10ft tall and wide, making it ideal for small gardens, privacy hedges, or as a standout specimen tree. The Mauve Passion™ boasts true mauve flowers—light dusty purple with a hint of pink—that bloom prolifically from early summer through fall. Mauve is a subjective color, often described as both purple and pink, and Mauve Passion™ captures that duality perfectly. The Mauve Passion™ has an upright growth pattern, typically forming a lovely vase-shaped small tree. Its flowers, measuring 6-12 inches long, adorn branches with slightly ruffled medium green leaves. The heavy flower clusters cause the branches to weep gracefully, adding to its charm. The tree also features striking white and gray exfoliating bark, sometimes with hints of light beige, and puts on a show in the fall with foliage in shades of yellow, gold, and orange.
