Max Flight Stick Apache Max Cyclic
Max Flight Stick Apache Max Cyclic The Max Flight Stick Apache Max Cyclic is a standalone AH-64 Apache cyclic for PC and Mac flight sims. It is the sixth generation of Max Flight S tick AH-64 cyclic, developed with an ex AH-64E Apache pilot. The grip carries four 5-way hat switches, a dual-stage trigger and 4 push buttons, for 26 programmable buttons on the standard push button version or 27 with the momentary thumb switch. In-house pistons give the X and Y axes a hydraulic feel. This is the metal version, with the grip printed in industrial-grade aluminium. It connects with a single USB cable and works with DCS, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020, FSX, X-Plane 11 and 12, Prepar3D, FlightGear and War Thunder. Key features Sixth-generation AH-64 Apache cyclic Developed with an ex AH-64E pilot Four 5-way hat switches Dual-stage trigger and 4 push buttons Up to 27 programmable buttons Optional momentary thumb switch Piston-loaded hydraulic feel on X and Y Grip printed in aluminium Aluminium tube bolts to the cyclic base Plug and play over a single USB connection An Apache grip under your hand The grip follows the AH-64 layout, with four 5-way hats, a dual-stage trigger and 4 push buttons placed where an Apache pilot expects them. That puts sensors, weapons and trim under your thumb and fingers without reaching for the keyboard. The standard version gives you 26 programmable buttons. Every one can be mapped in your sim, so the cyclic can run the same functions as the real aircraft. Standard push button or momentary thumb switch Choose the standard push button version, or the momentary thumb switch variant, which swaps in a spring-return thumb switch and takes the total to 27 programmable buttons. Both versions use the same metal grip, base and piston mechanism, so pick the one that matches how you want to work the thumb control. Browse our helicopter controls for the rest of your rotorcraft setup. Hydraulic feel on the base Max Flight Stick's in-house pistons load the X and Y axes, so the cyclic moves with a weighted, damped feel rather than springing back hard to centre. That suits the small, precise inputs that hovering and target tracking ask for. An aluminium tube connects the grip to the cyclic base with 2 bolts, and the base has several mounting options for a desk, a frame or a cockpit. Our expert take "For DCS Apache pilots, a dedicated AH-64 cyclic changes how the aircraft flies. Four 5-way hats and up to 27 buttons on a pilot-developed grip mean far less time on the keyboard, and the piston-loaded base gives the fine control you need in the hover." "This is the cyclic only. Pair it with a collective and pedals for a full setup, or look at the complete Apache Max set if you want everything in one frame. It works on PC and Mac only." - Blake Sterling, Founder & CEO, Gamer Gear Direct Frequently asked questions What is the difference between the push button and momentary thumb switch versions?The standard version has a push button under the thumb and 26 programmable buttons in total. The momentary thumb switch version swaps in a spring-return thumb switch and has 27 programmable buttons.Does it include a collective or pedals?No. This is the cyclic only, on its own base. It can be combined with a collective and pedals to build a full helicopter setup.Which simulators does it work with?Max Flight Stick lists DCS, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020, FSX, X-Plane 11 and 12, Prepar3D, FlightGear and War Thunder, plus any PC flight sim that accepts a USB game controller.Does it work on Xbox or PlayStation?No. It is built for PC (Windows XP through to Windows 11) and Mac, connected with a single USB cable.Is this the metal or resin version?Gamer Gear Direct sells the metal version only. The grip is made by industrial-grade powder metal printing in aluminium.How can I mount it?The base has several mounting options, and the grip tube bolts to the base with 2 bolts. See our flight simulator controls for the rest of your setup. .page_crafter_two_column_grid-IGls5edyEw { align-items: center; } .page_crafter_two_column_heading-IGls5edyEw { color: #000; text-align: center;
