The tallest table lamp in the Max Rollitt range, the Column Lamp makes a statement whether on its own or used as one of a pair. Its design is inspired by a 19th-century original ma de from ebony, but due to the illegal logging and overexploitation of tropical forests driven by ebony today, this version uses sustainable tulipwood and beech, which is hand-turned in the UK. It's then ebonized to give the much sought-after effect of the original, using techniques and materials that were already in use in the late Victorian period, when the original lamp was made.
