Vandal-Resistant Keypad with Wiegand and Cloud-Based Keycode Management The MAX KEYPAD is an access control keypad for residential and commercial gate installations. It connects to a Max Cell Hub via RS-485 for all keycode programming, user management, and cloud communication through the Max Cloud App. A Max Cell Hub is required; the MAX KEYPAD is compatible exclusively with Max gate operators. The zinc die-cast enclosure features a tamper-resistant front door and vandal-proof key lock for exterior installations. A sunlight-readable LCD displays programmable greeting and call button messages. The backlit keypad accepts 5-digit keycodes with optional time zone restrictions across six programmable timer schedules. A force open keycode lets a technician jog the gate open by overriding the operator's UL sensors when normal commands are not responding. The Wiegand input port supports 26-bit card readers, radio receivers, and RFID transponders, with up to three Wiegand keycodes per user and optional time restrictions. A dedicated relay port controls an access point directly, and the RTE port supports pedestrian gate exit switch integration. One Max Cell Hub supports up to 16 access points using any combination of MAX Keypads and Max Wiegand Converter units. Compatibility excludes the Max Phantom F6 and Max 2000 Plus. Each keypad occupies one access point slot on the hub; a single Max Cell Hub supports up to 16 total access points across any combination of MAX Keypads and Max Wiegand Converter units. The access point number is assigned using the onboard rotary switch (positions 0-15). Position 0 triggers gate open via the Cell Hub with the keypad relay inactive; position 15 triggers gate open via the Cell Hub with the keypad relay also activated.
