On 28ct linen, you will need a wide quarter.On 32ct linen, you can fit this on a wide eighth, but you will only have a 2.25 inch border on the short side of the fabric and 2.5 inches on the long side of the fabric.On 36, 40, and 46 ct linen, a wide eighth is plenty.
