Replacing our ever-popular Maxx18, the Maxx21 takes everything beekeepers loved about its predecessor and adds even more capacity, refinement, and stability. Now featuring our new bottom-drive PowerMaxx system, the Maxx21 offers smoother operation, improved balance, and easier access — all while holding up to 12 deep frames or 21 medium/shallow Langstroth frames in a true radial configuration. Part of our Maxx family of flagship extractors, the Maxx21 is built for serious hobbyists and sideliners who want commercial-grade performance without the cost of a larger machine. Here’s what sets it apart: 🔹 Proven PowerMaxx Drive System – Our tried-and-true 3-phase PowerMaxx motor and controller deliver smooth, quiet performance with industrial-grade reliability. The same system used across our larger extractors, pumps, and creamer machines. 🔹 Bottom-Drive Design – The motor is now mounted below the tank, lowering the center of gravity for a more stable spin and cleaner overall look. This setup also allows both polycarbonate lids to hinge open, giving you easy access for loading and unloading frames. 🔹 Premium 304 Stainless Steel Construction – 22-gauge, food-grade stainless steel tank and reel — some of the thickest in the industry — built in our new Turkish manufacturing facility known for top-tier quality and consistency. 🔹 EZ-Drain Tank Floor – A HillCo-exclusive sloped tank bottom ensures your honey naturally flows toward the gate — no tipping, no wasted honey. The honey gate sits nearly flush with the tank floor, allowing a clean, complete drain straight into your 5-gallon bucket. 🔹 Legendary 4/10 Warranty –• 4 years on motor, gearbox, and controller• 10 years on everything else — tank, reel, legs, lids, bearings, hardware, honey gate, and more.No fine print, no hassle — we stand behind our machines, period. 🔹 Easy to Clean & Maintain – Just remove two knobs and lift off the top bar and lids to access the reel. Simple, quick disassembly for cleaning and maintenance — no tools required!
