While once a popular option for downhill, these days this tyre is better suited for hard charging trail riders and enduro applications. The Minion DHF's tread design is renowned for its optimal balance of rolling speed, braking, and cornering traction, making it one of the most frequently copied tyres in mountain biking. Characteristics: Excellent cornering grip, predictable feel, handles a wide range of conditions. Faster rolling than the DHR II or Assegai. Decent braking traction. Suitable Terrain: Loose over hardpack, loam, rocks, roots. Fantastic for Canberra trails like Majura, varied terrain in Tasmania or much of SE QLD's mixed condition trails.
