This was a commission for a lady who has a May birthday - and a much loved dog. This shape block works best if the outer edge is kept as part of the composition. Any excuse to incl ude a bit of Hawthorn. Wood Engraving (block cut from a log of box wood); each one hand printed on Conqueror laid vellum block printing paper with black linseed oil based relief printing ink. Unframed 20cm x 23cm.
