A full 22 litre bucket in the back of the van is a spill waiting to happen. You either drive gently, tip half of it away before you set off, or spend the evening drying out the load space. The Maykker 22L Bucket Lid closes the bucket so the solution stays where you put it. It is a moulded lid in recycled polypropylene that sits on the rim of the Maykker 22L Professional Bucket and holds down with clips. A recessed grab handle is moulded into the centre of the top, so there is still something to pull on when the bucket is wedged in behind other kit. Fitted, the lid also keeps grit, leaves and road dust out of the solution. That matters more than it sounds, because the sand that settles in the bottom of an open bucket ends up in the washer sleeve and then on the glass. Clip down fit: stays put on the rim rather than lifting off every time the van corners. Moulded grab handle: recessed into the lid so nothing sticks up to catch. Recycled polypropylene: same material as the bucket, so it takes the same knocks and the same cold. 430g and 5cm deep: adds almost nothing to what you are already loading. Keeps debris out: useful when the bucket sits on a driveway or a flat roof between jobs. Worth knowing: this is a splash lid, not a watertight seal. It stops the slopping that gets water over the sides on a corner, but a bucket that goes over on its side will still empty. Keep it upright and wedged, and it pays for itself on the first drive.
