Every bucket on a belt has the same problem. You lift the mop out, it runs down the outside of the bucket and onto your trousers, and by mid morning you have a wet leg and a customer watching you drip across their floor. The Grackle is built around fixing that. It uses a reclaim system that catches what comes off the mop and feeds it back into the reservoir. Maykker hold two US patents on it. Three large tool slots take up to an 18 inch channel, and two loops on the outside hold a Maykker Handy Sleeve, a scraper, a spare squeegee or a towel. Just under 1lb empty: light enough to wear through a full day. Worth knowing before you order: this is the model without the tip function. There is no unclip and pour, so you empty it by taking it off and tipping it out by hand. If that matters to how you work, the Maykker Silencer 2 has the tipping reservoir instead. Machine washable on a cold gentle cycle, which is worth doing now and then because belt buckets get grim faster than anything else you carry.
