Viña Mayu was established in 2005 and is based in the Elqui Valley in northern Chile. Mayu is an ancient Incan name for the milky way, literally translating to "river of stars". Th is unique white is made from the Pedro Ximenez grape (PX for short), best known for making lusciously sweet Sherry wines in the south of Spain. In this case, PX is used to create a crisp and refreshing white wine that delivers excellent value.The grapes for the Mayu Pedro Ximenez are harvested by hand, and the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness.
