How do I attach it to my firearm? The remote comes with adhesive-backed hook-and-loop strips for easy mounting. An alcohol wipe is also included to clean the surface before you attach it. This allows you to place the remote anywhere you like. Which devices does this remote work with? This remote is made to work with both the Maztech X4-FCS (Fire Control System) and the X4-LRF (Laser Rangefinder). What is haptic feedback? Haptic feedback is a slight vibration you feel when a button is pressed. When the remote is connected to an X4-LRF, this feature confirms your button press so you don't have to look down. You can turn this feature off if you don't want to use it. Do the buttons always do the same thing? The button functions change based on the device it's connected to. With the X4-LRF, the buttons control the Lase, Menu, and Range functions. With the X4-FCS, they mimic the device's control knob and push-button. Can I use the remote if I have both an X4-FCS and an X4-LRF? Yes. When an X4-FCS and X4-LRF are linked together, you plug the remote into the port on the X4-FCS. From there, the remote will control key functions on both units, such as the LRF's laser and rangefinder, and the FCS's menu system. Where can I purchase the Maztech X4 Low-Profile Remote?
