MBS has launched this year’s Core 94 into a whole new league with a several critical upgrades. The most obvious of which is the advancement from F2 Velcro binding to MBS’ new F5 ratchet bindings. This is the first Core board to ever come stock with any ratchet binding, let alone bindings as strong, comfortable, and adjustable as the new F5. However, it’s the hidden upgrade from 9.5mm to 12mm axles that really transforms this board into one that even advanced riders can take seriously. With the chance of bending an axle reduced to nil, the Core 94 is ready to throw down in a way it’s predecessors only dreamed of. What’s New? F5 Bindings – Having formerly come with F2 velcro style bindings, the new Core 94 has been given a massive upgrade in the form of MBS’ new F5 ratchet bindings. More adjustable, more comfortable, more precise, more secure, and a whole lot more… ATS.12 Truck – This year, we’ve upgraded the MBS ATS trucks with 12mm axles so you can throw all the abuse you want at them without fear of ever bending an axle. 5-Star Hub – In 2015 we’ve upgraded the stock Core 94 hub to the brand new 5-Star hub. In addition to being stronger and able to handle higher tire pressure compared to the old Twistar hubs, the 5-Star hubs can be fitted with both 8″ and 9″ tires so riders can upgrade to MBS T2 9″ tires when they’re ready tackle the next level of freeride hills.
