In 1964, she co-founded the Detroit Artists Workshop and began documenting avant-garde jazz legends like Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Deeply involved in the counterculture movement, Sinclair captured iconic images of bands like MC5, Iggy Pop, and the Stooges.
