McDSP Analog Channel Native v7. Analog Channel emulates the sonic characteristics of high-end analog tape machines and channel amplifiers. It consists of two distinct plugins: AC101: Emulates analog channel amplifier circuits. AC202: Emulates analog tape machines. AC101: Analog Channel Amplifier Purpose: Acts as a digital pre-amp that allows substantial amounts of gain without introducing digital distortion. Controls: Drive Control: Determines the position of audio within the saturation/compression region. Attack and Release Times: Adjustable to shape the distortion character. AC202: Analog Tape Machine Purpose: Emulates analog tape machines with a range of parameters beyond real-world devices. Controls: Bias, Playback Speed, and IEC1/2 Equalization: Standard tape machine parameters. Low Frequency Roll Off and Head Bump: Adjustable independently of playback speed. Playback Head Types and Tape Formulations: Selectable options. Tape Saturation Recovery Time: Controllable parameter. Features Optimization: Compatible with Apple Silicon and the latest Intel processors. Licensing: Two activations per license/subscription. Interface: High definition updated user interfaces with new presets. Processing: Zero Latency Algorithms and Double Precision Processing.
