McKee's 37 Engine Degreaser is a surface safe engine cleaner. It is a blend of surfactants, sequestering agents, and emollients that quickly loosen and lift greasy build up from engine surfaces. Oil is broken up and encapsulated. By having a clean engine less time can be spent on diagnosing certain issues. For example, an oil leak. Also less mess for do it yourselfers. There are no harsh fumes and this degreaser is VOC compliant in all 50 states. It's safe on any hard non textile surface. There are no butyl, butyl ethers, and acid in this degreaser. Any surface under the hood can be cleaned safely provided it's safe to get wet. Note: If you have bright polished aluminum under the hood, take care not to leave McKee's 37 Engine Degreaser on the aluminum for more than a few seconds as it may spot. It is best to remove these before you clean the rest of the engine. Before cleaning your engine, always cover areas that should not get wet.
