Key Features Great for grip strength exercises Made with high-quality silicone polymer Gluten-, latex-, nut-, egg-, and soy-free Non-toxic and unscented Color-coded by resistance level for additional convenience Not made with natural rubber latex Resistance level matters more than most people expect when starting a hand therapy program. Soft putty like this is typically the right starting point for post-injury recovery, arthritis management, or anyone just beginning grip-strengthening work, since it allows a full range of squeezing and stretching motions without overloading weaker muscles or joints. As strength improves, progressing to a firmer resistance level keeps the exercise challenging rather than becoming too easy to provide ongoing benefit — a physical or occupational therapist can help determine the right progression schedule for a specific recovery goal.
