A classically proportioned lidded ginger jar with its high-polish mirror finish catching the room in soft, warped reflection. The silhouette is textbook: a bellied body tapering to a footed base, topped with a fitted lid and a slender acorn finial — a shape borrowed from Chinese porcelain temple jars and rendered here in solid brass for a Hollywood Regency edge. Unlike the smoky, unpolished patina we’ve left on other pieces in this collection, this one has been kept bright and reflective — a deliberate contrast that reads more glamorous than rustic.
