Sold as a set. This is a mid-century modern bar stool designed by Arthur Umanoff for Raymor, featuring a wrought iron frame, wood slated seats, and a wicker wrapped back. Arthur Um anoff (1923–1985) is an American industrial designer who has designed furniture, lighting as well as interior items. Umanoff graduated from the New York’s Pratt Institute and the American School of Design in the 1950s. In addition to the simple and timeless designs, Umanoff paid special attention to the functionality and attainability of the product. He favoured quality natural materials such as walnut, birch, rattan, leather and wrought iron. Umanoff’s designs represent the American mid century modern movement.
