It has become so much more by dramatically increasing your wave count it in turn increases your confidence and with the updated bottom contour it increases the ease of turning the board.Essentially, Modern built upon the original design of this board to hasten the first steps in surfing so people develop their skills even quicker and maximise the enjoyment they get from riding waves sooner.
