Recipeasy is now offering an MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution for iPads purchased through us. An MDM solution allows your iPad to be setup as a business iPad instead of a pe rsonal one. Key benefits include: Removing TouchID, FaceID, or PIN numbers at the system level. This will prevent employees accidentally setting one up when Apple pushes a iPadOS update. This happens a lot because Apple will prompt for one causing confusion and potentially locking others out. No AppleID required to install the Recipeasy App. This will also remove employee prompts to enter an Apple ID password under various circumstances. Only allow specific apps. New iPads come with a lot of unnecessary apps that employees should not have access to which muddy the experience. Remote wipe in the event of device theft. Enforce various restrictions to prevent use of the Pad for purposes other than Recipeasy such as watching videos, social media, modifying accounts, or preventing in-app purchases, etc. To learn more about MDM configurations and restrictions or how to setup your own MDM solution, see the Jamf website.
