The system uses ultrasonic sensors operating at 40 kHz to detect vehicles and obstacles within a range of up to 5 feet behind the vehicle, providing timely warnings to help reduce the risk of collisions. When an object is detected, the system activates an audible buzzer with adjustable high, low, or off settings, giving the driver customizable alert levels based on preference. Installation is simplified with a 4-wire connection system, designed for straightforward integration into most 12V vehicle electrical systems (9–16V operating range). The system includes waterproof sensor connections to help protect against rain, road spray, and harsh environmental conditions. The TE-BSDK includes a control module, ultrasonic sensors, and warning components designed for universal installation.
