How to Handle & Store Your Live Worms Your mealworms and mini mealworms arrive in bags and should be transferred into suitable containers. We recommend: Old ice cream tubs or similar containers Add small air holes (pinholes) for ventilation Keep in a cool, dry place Waxworms arrive in a tub and can be kept as they are. Keeping them cool will slow movement and help extend their life.
