Mealworms are the larvae of the Darkling beetle - Tenebrio molitor. They are the original trusted live feeder insect for reptiles and birds, and provide a lively, enriching hunting experience for reptiles. They are perfect for all reptiles, birds, fish, as well as hedgehogs, sugar gliders, and other exotics. They are high in fat and animals love them, but they should be used only as an occasional treat in addition to a complete diet.
