Native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea, Agalonemas are used to dappled sunlight and plenty of humidity. The Cutlass variety has thin, dagger-shaped leaves with some fun, light green variegation. They'll thrive in a room with bright light and away from the direct sun rays and have also been known to do well in slightly lower light conditions. WATER Thoroughly water your plant when you can feel that the top 2-3" of soil is dry. This is a tropical plant, so it will need high humidity - use a humidifier, a pebble tray, or mist the plant daily. GROWTH HABITS This plant can grow to about 3′ feet high with an equal spread when kept as a potted plant. This plant is toxic if ingested and may cause skin irritation.
