Along with length grain softwood boards, end grain will be most accepting of your knife edge and aid to the long evity of it's sharpness. Multiple coats of FDA grade mineral are applied, then buffed with a moisture resistant bees wax top coat finish. Specs: 16x12x1.5 inches Do not soak or put these boards in the dishwasher.
