There are a number of species—and hybrids of these species—and they may go by different common names, including Thanksgiving Cactus, Christmas Cactus, and Crab Cactus. Regardless of the name, Holiday Cacti grow best in medium to bright light. They enjoy being within about 3 to 4 feet of an unobstructed east- or west-facing window.
