The process by which a River stone is created is a brutal one! Brutal enough to turn mountains into beach sand. We reject an awful lot of stones before they make it to our tables. But . . . Sometimes, a stone will hide it's flaws until the very end of our time working with it. Some just don't meet our standards. Some may not handle the freeze thaw cycle well.
