Java This form of Scindapsus is similar to other varieties but stands out for its evenly silver leaves (it’s not mottled with green like Silver Hero, nor does it have the dark green midrib found on other forms of Platinum). Its lovely color makes it a perfect foil for other Scindapsus varieties, including S. treubii Moonlight and Platinum Java. Platinum Java thrives in a range of lighting conditions. While it tolerates lower light, it truly shines (pun intended!) in a bright, indirect spot. Aim for placement within 3-4 feet of an unobstructed east or west-facing window. Like most houseplants, it appreciates average household temperatures and humidity levels. While a higher humidity (50% or more) can promote lush growth, it's not necessary for success.
