A weave dedicated to the SWANA Queer community – honoring the many identities and stories *woven* into our history despite the erasure and suppression we’ve endured both from withi n our own spaces + from Western pink-washing. The LGBTQ+ community is known as the ’Meem & 3ayn (م & ع) Community’ - named after the first letters of many identity terms used across queer Arabic-speaking circles.
