This one-day event is designed for adults who would like to try skiing or snowboarding but aren’t sure how to get started. Under the guidance of Caberfae’s top instructors and staff from Bill & Paul’s, guests at this event will enjoy the best first day of skiing or boarding imaginable. All participants will receive a one-year membership to the West Michigan Ski Club. ITINERARY 9:00 am Gather at Beaties in the MacKenzie Lodge for a hot breakfast. You’ll be greeted by your hosts, get a layout to the day, receive a pair of Smartwool socks and meet your instructors. 10:00 am We’ll assist you in navigating the rental process where your equipment will be waiting for you. Final fitting and brief instruction on how it all works will be given. 10:30 am – 2:30 pm MEET THE SLOPES! You’ll enjoy a 4-hour lesson with Caberfae’s top instructors. This time includes a one-hour break for lunch (food not provided). 2:30 pm – 4 pm Your time. Continue skiing/boarding on your own or with your hosts from Bill & Paul’s. Or cozy up by the magnificent fireplace at the lodge to warm your toes, relax, and enjoy the hum of a ski lodge. 4 pm - 5 pm APRES TIME.
