Artist Reflections The creation of the world in the book of Genesis is a recounting of separations – Hashem distinguishing sequentially between light and dark, sea and sky, land an d sea. In my work, when I manage to capture places and times when those fundamental elements meet and recombine, I am able to feel the unity that precedes and pervades the universe at a deeper, more fundamental level. Indeed, I believe our role as humans is to take part in the reunification of all that seems to be separate. Show more
