The Megabass DEEP-SIX is engineered to provoke strikes in the 16ft – 19ft zone, performing reliably even in challenging conditions. That depth capability comes from a uniquely super thin lip that slices through currents while preserving the balance needed for a steep, controlled dive. DEEP-SIX also uses the proven Multi-way Moving Balancer System (PAT.) from the DEEP-X series. On the cast the main weight shifts to the rear, setting the lure tail-first to improve aerodynamics and extend casting distance. As the lure dives the weight transfers forward, steepening the dive angle so you reach target depth much faster. When DEEP-SIX hits its maximum depth and contacts bottom, structure, or is twitched, the main balancer releases and the weight slides to amplify action. If it levels out at depth without bottom contact, the weight releases from the front and settles into a middle position, altering the lure’s behaviour to produce a realistic flash plus an aggressive, high-pitch rolling and wobbling that triggers deep-water predators. The ultra-deep water used to be a refuge for lunkers. Not anymore. DEEP-SIX invades the depths and dominates the monsters’ sanctuary.
