The Megabass X-80 Trick Darter mold has been modified by adding metal shims to increase its volume. This results in 20% more buoyancy than the X-80, and the lip shape has been tune d. The lip shape has been modified to create surface agitation as a topwater plug. Furthermore, the internal core has been completely redesigned and the mold replaced, resulting in a refined internal structure that is entirely different from the X-80 Trick Darter. Anyone can create an exquisite boiling action simply by holding the rod upright and retrieving, thanks to its fat body.
