For this reason, we created a tile in which each tile has an individual texture. The tiles have a relatively fixed size but a variable texture, which is precisely the strength of the product. The tile is a 100% pure natural product and consists of 100% pure brass. For this reason, this material is also subject to discolouration and wear depending on the load. The wood is pure oak wood as is sculpted manually in the workshop. Form variations are always possible. The wood is finished by burning and waxing. Please note that under no circumstances can Atelier Tourain be held accountable about how the brass is maintained or used. This is 100% the responsibility of the user Atelier Tourain's oil provides a basic water repellent effect and does not offer 100% sealed protection. It serves purely as basic protection against mild splashes of light products. Acids such as lemon, tomatoes, wine or harsh cleaning products, will break down the oil more quickly and thus cause patina marks on the material over time.
